This years show will be held over the weekend of the
11-12th July 2009.
Salisbury
Show is a great day out for all the family. No matter what the weather
is on the day we have something to excite and interest you.
Bring along your dog on Saturday and enter it in the waggiest tail, or
any of the fun classes. There are lots of children's rides and entertainment
to keep them amused but also classic cars and an auto jumble for dad.
Have a go at archery
. Sit in the bar and enjoy a pint of real ale while you watch the exciting
arena events or listen to the band. Walk around looking at the numerous
stalls, crafts and painting demonstrations.
The duck racing brings a smile as you watch them racing back to their
flock and you know that even if your duck does not win then the Salisbury
Hospice has benefited from your support.
. In the main arena there will be falcons, owls, lurchers, horses, terrier
racing, gundogs and lots more. This year we also have a second arena that
is dedicated to countryside sports. If you want to enter the horticultural
and flower arranging competitions we can send you information. It is fantastic
to go into the marquee with you friends and find that you have won a rosette
and prize.
We also have a wild west area where there will be authentic living history
and cowboys giving wild west demonstrations and displays during the weekend.
